Job Mission

As a Facilities Manager you will be responsible for ongoing building maintenance by interfacing with partner contractors. You will keep the physical plant operational by using combination of skills in HVAC, Plumbing, Diagnostics with a strong dose of people skills.

Job Description

Facilities -

  • Coordinate with landlord for grounds, external maintenance, repairs

  • Maintain Services Tracking System and drive vendors for all maintenance and repair services

  • Manage service and repair vendors, MEP, building automation, security systems, housekeeping, etc.

  • Manage Fire Alarm and Sprinkler System maintenance

  • Manage Fire Extinguisher maintenance

  • Manage AV Systems

  • Manage furniture orders, installations, reconfigurations

  • Collaborate on Build Out/Expansion

  • Manage Corporate Apartments

  • Manage Facilities JIRA tickets, providing service requested and closing tickets

  • Own Facilities web site

  • Manage and set-up TV programming, per plans and for special requests

  • Monitor HVAC Systems

  • Monitor Plumbing/Water Systems

  • Service office machines / call suppliers to service equipment

  • Partner with indoor plant maintenance company

  • Oversee Pest Control Contract

Security -

  • Manage ProWatch badging and building access for facility, generate reports on demand

  • Oversee reception function provided by outside security service


  • Associate Degree


  • Experience in facilities management in high tech environment

  • Hands on experience in maintenance and repair functions

  • Strong vendor management experience

  • Cleanroom / datacenter experience a plus

  • Proven build out, design, maintenance skillset

  • Some accounting experience desirable

Personal skills

  • Must be very detail oriented, quality conscious

  • Must have strong Excel skills

  • Perform well in multitasking environment

  • Unflappable under pressure

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

  • Bilingual preferred

  • Customer oriented and pleasant demeanor

Context of the position

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings.
