Job Description

Field application engineer located in Taichung, reporting toWayne Chen/Spencer Lin
People development: develop FAE SMT, customer interface/ communication, knowledge management
Product support
NTP: support node project introduction in customer fabapplication
NPI: support new platform introduction in customer fabapplication
HVM: sustain installed base machine for applicationissues
Business support: support requests from BDM and CSR.
Process improvement: establish escalations, knowledgemanagement, co-working between departments and across countries.

Education

B.S / M.S

Experience

ASML platform knowledge: YieldStar/XT/XTi/NXT
Semiconductor process knowledge
Background knowledge of customer process/applications
Scanner metrology (wafer alignment/reticle alignment /leveling) and sensor knowledge
Strong presentation and communication skills tointerface internal (BDM, project leaders, management) and external(Micron, Nanya, and WEC’s execution and mid to high management level)customers.

Personal skills

Flexible mindset to support various tasks within matrixorganization (escalation, KM, project, BDM support)
Awareness / knowledge of ASML way of working to ensurehelp needed are addressed successfully and efficiently to the rightpeople.

Context of the position
