Job Mission

In order to stay competitive and to be able to deliver effectively to our customers, ASML Supply Chain Management continuously needs to further professionalize its operation. One of the biggest challenges in the coming years is to standardize our warehouse processes in order to run more than 50 warehouses worldwide in an efficient and effective way. To facilitate this standardization we will develop and implement an interface with our logistic service providers to connect our ERP system (SAP) with the warehouse management system (WMS) from the logistic service providers. This new set up requires a new role in our organization to ensure the inventory levels between ASML and the logistic service providers are in sync.
You will join our diverse warehousing team on this mission, you have the drive, cross departmental communication skills and persistence to help us to make this a success. You will be responsible for managing all inventory control related activities, ranging from defining our inventory control processes to managing operational escalations.

Job Description

As an inventory controller your main responsibility is to keep the stock levels in our ERP system in sync with the stock levels in the WMS. This requires extensive knowledge of the processes and the IT systems. You will work together with the teams in the local organizations and the logistic service providers to ensure the inventory management processes are executed as designed.
As the interface is not in place yet at the moment you start in the job, you will first work on designing the inventory management processes and work with IT to get the processes in the ERP and WMS systems as designed. After implementation of the interface you will be the one within ASML responsible for a smooth running logistics operation.
-Develop and implement the new inventory management processes, with the aim of controlling a 100% accuracy of stock levels between ASML SAP and the WMS of the logistic service providers
-As part of project team, help to set up of a support organization that will act as first line support for technical issues and act as a second line
-Write and maintain accurate written procedures for all main inventory control processes, including inventory reconciliation
-Manage and control inventory stock counting and inventory accuracy checks across ASML and logistics service providers
-Ensure daily reports are produced and any discrepancies are addressed and resolved. Work closely with the support organization.
-Monitor the interface uptime performance and start improvement activities with the IT department


At least Bachelor or Master in Supply Chain Management, Finance, IT or comparable.
Finance professionals with experience in logistics and operations are also welcome to apply.


-3 to 7 years relevant experience
-Relevant IT skills in ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems applications and interface connections
-Knowledge of SAP is a plus
-Fluent in English; additional Asian languages are a plus
