This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

As a Manufacturing Engineer at ASML San Jose, your job functions will include but not limited to:

·Industrialization of factory to established 4 independent high volume manufacture line (work center) on E-beam machine system integration line, EE module line, SW/computer line and SEM module line.

·Define and focus on different production line to excise the industrialization job to ensure the four major areas (E-beam machine, EE modules, SW/computer & SEM module production line).

·Review EPS and EDS on industrialization requirements.

·Translation of product specifications to requirements in product design and manufacturing processes such as factory cycle time.

·During the design review phase, you need to ensure the product is designed to meet manufacturability.

·Input new product based on former product lessons learned.

·Design Manufacturing process and sequence to optimize cycle time, ensure performance and secure success rate/yield.

·Do the preparation for the factory processes including all required assembly, test and training documentation. Definition of out of control action plans, diagnostics, Statistical Process Control parameters, tooling and spare parts;

·Be able to create SOP & checklist for all the various Modules and Manufacturing Integration.

·Support Manufacturing ramp up process.

·Analysis of the performance in factory and define improvements to meet initial product specification.

Qualifications

·Bachelor’s degree in Applied Physic or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant, hands-on work experience including a strong foundation in the fundamentals of physics and charged particle physics.MS degree in Applied Physics or Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of experience is preferred.

·Strong diagnostic and trouble shooting skills in electron optics subsystems such as sources, optics and detectors.

·Must have hands-on work experience as well as a strong team player attitude.

·Ideal candidate will be self-driven, innovative and collaborate.

·Excellent English communication skills both written and oral.

·Must be able/willing to work independently and/or as part of a team.

·Proven expertise and experience with electron scanning microscopy, charged particle optics, high voltage, charged particle physics, vacuum systems and semiconductor fabs is desirable.
