Job Mission

Within our Development & Engineering Quality and Continuous Improvements (D&E Q&CI). department we have a sub department called Test, Measurement & Facilities (TMF). They are responsible for test strategy, design, realization and analysis on mechanical (sub)-systems and components. You will take ownership of Test Area's and Test Setups to enable a safe & clean working environment for users of TMF, ASML and external partners.

Job Description

-Take lead in changes and upgrades of Test Area & Test Setups and communication with external support partners.
-Being responsible for authorization of end users to use Test Area's and Test Setups.
-Supporting Test Setup owners in Installation, Relocation and Storage & End of Life scrapping.
-Supervising the Test Area and Personnel for compliancy with the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) & TMF safety regulations.
-Support 5S+1 auditing of test areas.
-Maintain correct status information in TMF Test Administration Database (TAT).
-Control the administration of documentation, procedures of Test Area's & Test Setups.
-Communicate with Area, Test Setup (end) users & ASML Facility Management.

Education

Bachelor degree in mechanical, electronics, mechatronics or (applied) physics.

Experience

-At least 5-7 years’ experience in a relevant multi-disciplinary technical work environment.
-Experience with the design, realization, execution and analysis of test (setups) on mechanical (sub)-systems and components.
-And/or a broad experience as a generalist within a wide range of these areas.
-Good knowledge of Conformité Européenne (CE-markering), Machinery Directives and Health and Safety (ARBO) Guidelines.
-Knowledge of or competencies within various fields of safety regulation, like for example high pressure, laser safety, high voltage, high vacuum, gasses, and others is a strong preference.
-Experience with Matlab, Labview and/or Xpc software is a plus.

Context of the position

Within ASML the sector Development & Engineering is responsible for the specification and the design of the ASML products. The department Quality and Continuous Improvement cluster within D&E to help us consolidate quality and continuous improvement activities within D&E, in full alignment with global quality initiatives across ASML.
Our customers require a stronger ASML Quality approach, moving from 'Quality as a choice' to 'Quality first' with more focus on quality during the development phase. By setting up a strong Quality and Continuous Improvement cluster in D&E we will improve our response on quality, support and reporting needs in D&E and help resolve quality issues across our products.
The holder of this position is reporting to the group leader of the Test and Measurement Facilities group. The candidate’s primary internal interfaces are Facility Management, EHS team, team members of the TMF group
